Hi everyone,

I am a beginner OpenBot user, trying the rpaChallenge. Facing the following issues: 1-> web element recorder not working because of the http->https conversion. 2-> not finding element action->Element recorder 3-> tried selecting click element and then looking in the list to find element recorder, again could not find.

Is there any other way to capture the elements?

Thanks

Hi RAJMAS001,

Thankyou for sharing your query. The web element recorder supports only few websites. As an alternative, I would suggest try to use selenium commands and get the attributes using the OB Web Element Recorder, Native Element Recorder.

For the prompt input command, I think you might get this error in case any value is not assigned correctly. Input parameters field

  1. Input Type "Textbox" 2. Input Label -"Username" 3. Default Value - ""(you need to specify either a value or indicate null) 4. Assigned value - Create a string variable Reference link to user Prompt Input command - https://academy.openbots.ai/lessons/attended-automation/

Hi RAJMAS001,

Thankyou for sharing your query.

  1. Can you please confirm if you have installed the extension for the browser. You can find the extension manager by navigating to the Options Tab> Extension Manager and install the extension for the browser you will be working on. In case if you have installed and it is not working, please uninstall and install it again.
