Hi Openbots,
I have created a BOT that need to run in back ground. Because when the bot runs in foreground the user will try to interrupt the bot that slows down the process. Please suggest any provision available for accomplish the Bot running in background. All the inputs are hard coded for the application. My only vision is there should be a provision for run the BOT in Background apart from windows scheduler.
If we can do it using windows scheduler the guide us if there is any command for creating scheduler from Openbots Server to the Agent system.

November 17,2021 at 2:49 PM I don't think you can run a bot in the background while a user is working in the UI on the same machine. We always run our unattended bots on their own machines (physical or VM). You can be signed-in to the bot's machine (during testing, via RDP, for instance) and watch the bot in-action. Just don't click or otherwise interfere with what is happening on-screen or the bot will be interrupted.
I'm not sure what you mean about Windows scheduler but, we schedule/trigger our bots to run with Server or Cloudserver, for unattended bots. I think you can use Agent to schedule attended/desktop bots without involving Server but, I have yet to try it. Hope this helps.
